so got i got back to the burg alright. and it was such a happy reunion with everybody here. but after going through classes today i got a big slap in the face from reality.
i have tons of work to do.
like this next couple weeks are going to be murder.
art: quizes and that's it. one of my good classes
american heritage: repentance exam (doesnt hurt can only help)
and i have to read the rest of 400 pages of malcolm x and write a 2 page paper on it by this thursday and then have a final test the last week
family: i have 9 more files to do (files include a 2 page summary, page application, and notes) and thats due the monday of finals week
math: lamegayface. i have a test and then a comprehensive test. which i suck at because i dont remember stuff from the beginning of the year let alone crap math... mer..and hw everyday for that class
psych: i have 2 psych projects due this week and one more week. and two online quizzes and then a final test.. ugh
book of mormon: i have more extractions (summaries of random chapters and then our impressions) and then an assessment due this week and the next week (these are personal assessments of what we think, they are harder than they sound)
i'm gonna go crazy...
and i'm breaking out again because of idaho and now doubly because of stress..
oh my heck.
i just want to soak it in before its over...

jessica's triumphant return
okay so pretty much i am SO PUMPED TO COME HOME!!
PREPARE BATTLE GROUND FOR THE TAYLOR SISTERS SHALL BE REUNITED!!
yea so i thought that this week was going to go by just fine.. i mean i get to come home so i'm happy.
but no.
its like one of the most stressful weeks. I have a huge psych test (over 5 chapters) that i am taking tomorrow. I just got done with a 4 page family paper (so at least that's over). Chantelle and me are getting a ride with this girl name katie who is going to the ILP training also. We're leaving thursday because our training is friday and saturday from 8:30am to 5:30. ah. so i thought it was going to be fine to miss classes on friday because so far none of the teachers had mentioned any tests. well stupid dumb college math, teacher tells us monday that we have an in class test on friday. number one, i dont know the material. number two i'm stressed out enough with everything else. ugh. so pretty much college math is the bane of my existence. i talked to the teacher, who i love and is the nicest guy (its the actual class i hate) and told him i wasnt bailing out early that i had training in SLC. so now i have to go to his office at 2pm on thursday and take a test. i wanted to cry on the way home from math..
and i still have to pack and i keep stressing about flying alone. thankfully everything looks like its going to work out at SLC. we're lucky because chantelle's gpa and gma are lending us their car which is SOO nice. and then we're staying at her grandparents place the first nite, going to training and then staying at lori's then training then i'll stay saturday nite with lori and she'll take me to the airport on sunday. then home sweet home.
so pretty much i'm just waiting for this week to be over.
and you best be ready to rock it taylor style when i gets home.

dan in real life
is a.good.movie.
like i teared up and laughed and loved it soo much. steve carell is a very good actor. and i'm pretty much in love with him.
it was a good drama but it still had the steve carell humor in it.
tyler, his gf, joey, chelsea and me went to see it. and then we went back to joeys and played uno, phase 10 and watched bourne supremacy.
i love hanging out with that group. (minus tylers gf, long story but she's just plain and blah and we dont know why he is with her)
um. other highlight.. i went grocery shopping? i'm hoping it will last me the rest of the semester. a majority of the food is tuna. ha. i love it. mom's prejudices has kept me from tuna.
i have a huge psych test this week and a family paper due on wednesday. other than that i just have to get through this week. and my art classes are cancelled so i only have 8 oclock classes on tuesday and thursday. yay :)
and i wont go to class thursday cause i have china training in provo on friday and saturday. so chantelle and me are getting a ride from this girl going to the training also. so we'll leave thursday.

dan's house!
okay so dan, one of joey's room mates was really set on taking us up to his house and having his mom cook for us. so last saturday that's what we did! it was so much fun. he lives an hour away in island park (which we thought forever was island park.. woops). group = dan, tyler (nother of joey's roommate), chelsea, erin, melissa and me.
um. number one dan has a really nice house. he looks like this tough hick but he's just a fun goofy kid underneath. and we thought he'd live on a farm. no they live in a freaking nice log cabin. it was gorgeous.
well we got there and had time to spare until dinner, so what do we do? drive to montana of course!! ha. we went to west yellowstone, this little tourist town. i didnt even know we were leaving idaho until we're driving and tyler shakes his hand in the air and says "montana!.. woo!"
we get to this town and everything's pretty much shut down cause its not tourist season. we were going to see an imax movie but what dan wanted to see wasn't playing so instead we go to a bear and wolf park? what?! like real bears and wolves?
yes.
it was this little mini museum and then outside there were real bears and wolves. it was actually quite neat. it made me want to snuggle up to one of the bears and made me want a pet wolf. and we stayed long enough to see the wolves fed and the bears switched out (they rotate them so they don't get bored with their environment).
so we got to see 2 bears, then 4 more came out to scavange for food. and we got to see a 3 second bear duel! it was legit
and we saw 4 wolves. and we got to see them naw on some bones. they are so pretty.. maybe santa will get me one for christmas i mean i have been specially good.. just maybe..
after that little adventure we went back to dan's and his mom made this awesome home cooked meal. i guess she usually serves it in a pumpkin but it had ground beef, rice, vegetables, and water chestnuts. then this good marshmallow fruit thing and home made bread! ah man was it good. so did not want to go back to galley food/my mediocre college cooking.
and then we just played phase 10 for the rest of the time.
but it was really fun.
over all i give it a 10, 5 stars, 2 enthusiastic thumbs up.. um and a smiley face sticker?
(oh ps. dan does the best brian regan impression, like he actually sounds like him. and i guess i was the only one who knew who brian regan was cause i was the only one that laughed.)
stake conference was this weekend and to everyone's shock the topic was temples and what? marriage? oh no.. we never speak of marriage at byu-idaho. hah.
ery thang else is good. i can't believe thanksgiving is coming up so soon. i half dont like it, cause i like it here. but it will be good to see everyone again.
and yes mom i'm trying to enjoy every minute of it.
