Remember Me?

Heyyyyy... yeah..... so.... I haven't really been the best at keeping up my blog.
I could come up with a billion excuses as to why I just haven't simply come on and just written at least a paragraph about what's happening to me. But better later than never at all.
So HERE I AM :) I'm back!!

Since the reunion (yeah, it's been that long since I've updated you) I have started my last semester online. Turns out going to school is way easier than trying to do some classes online when living at home. At least in Rexburg I was completely giving myself to education. It was my motivation for waking up everyday. But being at home there are so many more distractions and I just feel torn between doing 20 different things, one of those not being homework. But having these classes has kept me connected to Rexburg, which I miss dearly, and I'm learning some amazing things so it's really not that bad.

I have since got a part time job, thanks to a connection at church that saw my application and had it pulled. There's a new side of town called BG Village that their trying to make into a nicer part of town. It's much more trendy and chique. It work at a clothing store called BG Bop Shop (I hate the name) but it's the perfect job that I really needed.


There's not that much traffic but enough and on my shift I'm the only one at the store. So that gives me time to do homework etc. It is the epitome of a chill job. There was a lady that owned it before and pretty much should never have tried running a clothing store so the management that is there now is trying to save it and make it into something good.


They have a lot of cute clothes and purses but there's a lot of crap there too. Apparently the lady who owned it before would get these bundles of clothing (all new, most with tags still on) and she was promised so many high end nice things but then she also got all the rest of the crap that they threw in for a certain amount of money. Well she didn't really have an editing eye so we have a continuing sale to try and get rid of all the crap. But I love it. The worst part is having to listen to the radio all day. I kind of hate popular radio music. 80% of the time they are waaaay inappropriate songs and 90% of the time they are just dumb. My goal in my job is to avoid Katy Perry songs at all costs.

Now for the exciting news. For the next five days I will be on the great adventure that is my Travel Art class!! We could choose to do an internship to graduate or this travel class they offer. There's one that goes to New York (usually for graphic designers), one to SLC (usually for poor college students) and one to San Francisco (for fine arts/general). So I'm going to San Fran! I'm leaving today for Reno where we'll make a pit stop and tomorrow morning make our way to San Francisco. So now for the next five days you will get updates on all of the awesome culture I get to experience. We have placed like the SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), the Japanese Tea Gardens and so much more on our agenda. I'm really excited to show pictures and tell about the neat things I get to go see.
