the curse of idaho

okay i'm not sure if you know exactly what i'm talking about, but idaho is cursed. part of its the climate i think, part of it, well i guess there some other force at work. okay we're not sure if its just the area but food goes bad really fast. it seems by the time we buy our milk we have to like chug it down before it expires. things that i've had that have gone bad (mind you these werent pleasant) rotten salad, rotten cucumber, semi-rotten milk (it was like 5 days past expiration but it still tasted fine.. it just freaked me out), rotten peppers, rotten yogurt, and nobody will fess up but i found a couple days ago a half gallon of oj and half gallon of choc. milk. the oj was inflated like all the sides popped out and the choc milk had seperated into different ingredients and just didnt look like chocolate milk. i buy gallon chocolate milk, and tropican oj so its not mine. i think its emily's but she wont admit it. and who had to go throw it out? yes, good samaritan jessica.
second curse is idaho makes me break out. and it womps. in washington i would never break out and here its like pizzaday everyday. and my bangs have grown out so i haven't been able to use my normal way of covering at least half of them up.
and this could be the climate but hair is exremely frizzy here. i will straighten it and just comb it and it will fray out to the sky slash cling to my face. or you just run your fingers through it. same thing. not fun. cause my hair isn't cooperative anyways and this just adds another factor to its difficultness.
those are just some examples. but its wierd.

anyhoo. went to guitars unplugged it was AWESOME. there was this girl who didn't play it normally. she said she learned it in canada from some guys. she wouldn't strum it she would press down on a couple of strings and then beat her guitar. then she'd sometimes strum while doing it. she said it was like keyboard, percussion and acoustic guitar all in one. it was sweet. there was alot of talent. it was sweeet.

melissa and me went to broulims for the first time. (erin and chelsea went to SLC so we lost our transportation). that was.. exciting? well we got jamba juice so it was way worth it.

i gave the lesson in Relief Society. it was on strengthening the family. and of course the bishop showed up for our relief society. as if i needed more pressure. but i think it went well. a lot of people told me it was good.. but sometimes you can't quite differentiate between sincere and just wants to be nice. but it was good.

um... yup. suns been out. cupboards are full of food. life is swell.

oh ps. last weeks office was amazing. i watched it three times on nbc.com
genius. best episode of the season so far.

favorite quote
"dwight's mercy killed angela's cat.
its complicated.
and its caused some unpleasantness between dwight and angela.
who are already prone to unpleasantness."

i love it
and andy's character was genius. he had some good lines.
speaker phone serenade. i can see somebody here trying to pull that off to ask a girl out.
but andy's growing on me. still creepy... something about that smile. and can i just say, what is up with those light blue pants?
but its cute.

and i wanted to give dwight a big hug when he had his sad face on..
oh and the dwight prank was legendary. ha. why you were typing this i learned every fact about everything. and mastered the violen. oh and sold more paper.

oh and go phyllis. i want to try those for reals.

office was pretty great. i just want to see some more jim and pam story line that isnt cheesy 'when i liked you' lines on the roof.

i know exactly how you feel about idaho. my hair did not like idaho, but unlike you, my skin LOVED idaho. i didnt have one breakout my whole last fall semester.

just wait till the curse extends to below freezing winds that freeze the boogers in your nose.

guitars unplugged is the best!! there are always some really good people. you should go to music outlet on monday nights. i'm not sure where they have it anymore, but that was always really good.
