Q'd

oh em gee.

suck a big fat problem that could've been solved so easy but no its turned into this big fat deal.

emily had a boy over and they were on the couch, feet on the ground, lights on, curtains opened all the way, tawni and me were both in the front room

elise, RA comes over and says "they can't sit like that, you guys are Q'd"

so we're confused a little bit after she left and put the Q up on our door. I asked emily and we are 100% sure we did nothing wrong.

so we're just confused.

the next night we're at a birthday party at 403. there's like around 10 people there. elise, in the middle of the birthday party comes and Q's them for no joke, having there blinds 2 inches down from the top!! ITS A BIRTHDAY PARTY. she made the boys leave, so we had to relocate. can you say LAME

so we're pretty much outraged.

well that's not even the beginning.

so emily came home like 2 minutes past curfew and elise was on duty so emily asks her what exactly she did wrong so that it wont happen again.

and i quote "oh, you guys didn't break any rules, its just that somebody might have felt uncomfortable"

excuse me?

EXCUSE ME!

so emily talked to the HR(head resident) and she totally sympathized with her. and apologized and said that that was wrong what elise did and that there's nothing wrong with cuddling or holding hands. so we're thinking she's going to talk to the RA's and then we'll get our Q taken down, since, you know, WE DID NOTHING WRONG

they had a big RA meeting but

turns out last night she sent around an email saying rules are rules and you need to the respect the RA's.

um. well that was the final point. we're all pissed, not because of the email but because its exactly the opposite of what she told emily the day before.

so emily got called down to talk to amy, the HR. and she said that she wasn't there so she doesn't know the circumstance. she says elise told her that her feet were on his and that they were breaking rules. so what the flip. we've all decided that elise is just some nazi RA that takes her job way too seriously.

the whole thing has just really not made us too happy towards dorms, or these people.

our reasoning

1. we did nothing wrong. you have no right to punish us for not breaking rules

2. if we did something minor or on accident, freaking just give us a warning. its not like we're trying to get away with as much as we can

3. it just plain makes us look bad. poor emily almost started crying when elise came and Q'd us. people hear that we got Q'd and then it was emily. that makes people think we're slutty mormons and it gives us a reputation that we deserve in no way shape or form.

4. they should want us to hang out with boys here where they can keep an eye on us. now we're being forced to go to other people's apartments or other places where anything can happen.

now we have to resort to dates in parked cars, in dark alleys ;)

which i feel like burning

there are currently 8 Q's up in lamprecht. around 6 are from elise.

no other dorms are this strict. no other RA is as psycho as elise.

this has just pissed us off.

the worse part is i have to listen to my room mates talk about it. and melissa just get really angry and annoying in her tone of voice and it just gets everybody else mad. and tawni wrote an email to the HR which she told emily "i just got a really nasty email from your room mate"

and what nobody realizes is this will only get better if you go about it the right way, not like some pissed off freshment college kids. so i'm mad at tawni for sending that, cause that was just stupid and immature.

i just want to tell them to just let it blow over and just see what happens.

its totally ruined the spirit here, that we now have to try and rebuild.

on a happier note i got an email from dad that had these pictures, that pretty much made my day.
