classy classes

first set of classes
summary of each

intro to visual arts with sister jimison.
way cute lady. she came in wearing a knee length black dress with puffy sleeves. way artsy which automatically made me love taking an art class because i'm with all the art majors who express themselves with crazy hair and cool unique style in clothes. there's about 50 kids in the class. and its pretty much just discussing art. which i expected. but i'm actually really excited for it. just to get perpective. she said what she really wishes she could do is take us to europe and go see the art. but yea we just looked at different art pieces and talked about why we liked this one and not that one. it just makes me feel really cultured. seems like a pretty easy class. more of a "you'll get out of it by what you put into it" kind of deal.

american heritage with brother johansen
kind of already seems like its going to be my lamest class out of all of them. apparently its really hard. and there were seriously more than 100 kids in the class. it was busting full of people. and its history. which come on blah. there's a reason i didn't pass AP Us History in high school. i mean i find it interesting its just not something i know alot about already and some of it just seems lame. but its good to know that kind of stuff. and i met a really nerdy kid but it was fun because i found out last year nerds make really fun and entertaining friends. but luckily a girl sat in between us. so yea it just seems like its going to be a lot of work. a lot of assignments and homework and tests. o well.

lastly
the family with brother webster
way way way way way way cool. i'm so pumped for this class. its busting full of interesting people who are all taking it for different reasons and from different walks of life. brother webster seems like a really cool guy who is one of those teachers that knows the best way we'll learn is from eachother and by just discussing things. and he wants to learn from us. just an all around cool guy. so we started out and he just said okay what are you're questions. and a bunch of us just sat there and looked at eachother. so there were a couple questions but that's how it went for a good 20 minutes and he just looked at us and if we weren't asking questions he'd ask "why aren't you asking the questions you have?" so more questions came. but we finally decided on going around the room and introducing ourselves and about our family and relationship status (of course). but it was fun because you would never know this stuff otherwise. it was funny because at first there was only 1 boy to about 30 girls but then about 4 more boys joined the class. there were about 6 married girls. a married couple taking the class together. a married girl who is pregnant. a 27 yr old haitian who is married and has a 2 yr old. so yea it was way cool. and its one of those discussion classes where really we teach eachother and just talk about stuff which makes it, i think way better and way more fun.

so yea. overall classes = good.
tomorrow i have psych 111 and book of mormon. eek! i'm excited.

and there's good looking boys everywhere... in every class, on every sidewalk, everywhere.
but i'm patient. they'll find me sooner or later. ;)

i can't believe you taking two of the eact same classes i took with the exact same proffesors i had! sister jimison is really cool, she really wants you to get an A and you can get it no matter what if you put in the effort. the only problem with that class is its dark and the chairs are comfy... which is nap inducing.

brother webster is SO cool. that class is SO great. it was probably one of my top two favorite classes i took. he is a very neat guy. in my class we had this one girl who would give really weird comments though... lol. it made it interesting. you'll love that class.

i took american heritage, but not from him. the guy i took it from is a mission president now... and strangly... jenna tingey almost got engaged to his son in guam. lol.

im glad your having fun... but don't get beind on your readings!
