o college...

why hello.
well my sister forced me to get this because she won't let me know the secret to get into myspace and facebook at school because they block it. lame.
so pretty much college is ahhhh-some. i haven't been to classes yet, that's tomorrow. so today i woke up at 7:00 because they had this morning breakfast and being a poor college kid i jumped at the opportunity for free food.
then we had a morning devotional which was ah-mazing. there's nowhere in this world like this place. its ridiculous. so my I-Team leaders (kind of like stripes mentors) were so cool. the girl bonnie was way cute and does dance and all this other stuff that you wouldn't think she'd be into and then the guy david was WAy good looking and he was just plain fun. but as we're going through the day i notice she has a wedding ring and he has a wedding ring and that's when i had a duh moment. and that's the time that made me start looking for wedding rings and assume that any pretty decent looking boy with a personality will be taken. but that doesn't stop me from looking ;) good looking boys are always nice to have around.
okay so after devotional we had a showcase, which was pretty much like hey look what you can get into at school, and it was alright. after that we trecked down to a field and put together a bunch of humanitarian kits. which service just always makes you feel good. and they provided lunch, so you know, bonus.
then tonite is I-night, which is practically grad nite times 10,000. its pretty much taking over the campus tonite. it has everything, bull-riding, laser tag, characatures, rides, dunk tank, and so much more. geeze. talk about some good clean fun.
and my room mate. is. awesome. she's adorable. and we just get along. the two other girls are a senior and sophomore so we stick together. she's just funny. she'll laugh this high girly laugh but it cracks me up. yea. so i'm pretty blessed that everything worked out because that's the one thing i worried about. i can already tell we're going to be really good friends. we're going to walk around and see where my classes are for tomorrow later today.
but i still miss home. and everybody. and i think i forgot a box somewhere cause i swear i'm missing some stuff that i remember packing. ugh. that's frustrating.
but the sun is shining and the sunsets are more amazing than anything.
