so... um.. funny story

i'm sitting at my desk today (saturday) and emily has a date at 7 and i'm just working on some homework.
well.
she gets a call from this boy and talks to him and comes back in the room and says "hey jessica.. so i found you a date for tonite!!"
o emily.
so i'm just like, okay i'll go along with it.
i mean it could be really extremely awkward or way fun. i'll just go in with low expectations and then i wont get let down. best mindset right?

so they come to pick us up. its this kid ben (RM) (emily's), this kid tyeson (mine) (just got back from mission two months ago, i know right?) and their friend george (not his real name but that's what they called him), apparently he had a date but then didn't.

so where did we go?

WINGERS OF COURSE.

i pretty much loved the whole night, except you know, the food isn't that great. but it was such the byu idaho dating experience i've always hoped for, and exactly how i pictured it.
except i spilled my coke ALL over the table. and felt like an idiot. and my sarcasm made them think i was mean. but we just joked around with it the whole night.
but these guys were way cool. they were all from idaho falls so they were small town folk. which pretty much means they are just genuinely nice guys. mine didn't talk much but we had a lot in common. i got along with george the best. but i wouldn't want to date any of them but i definately still want to be good friends with them.
so after wingers we headed back to their apartment and just hung out. two of their friends came by and hung out too (one was their other room mate)
we played taboo and then ended up playing ultimate frisbee. SO FUN.

but i just plain love people here. (or at least the ones i've met)
ps. we went college grocery shopping for the first time today too. cept i found a friend (405 girl) who has a car so we didn't have to walk so we went to albertsons. woot woot. but its so depressing spending so much money on just the necessities not even food i really enjoy (you know the junk kind)

but yea. jessica has a social life (this weekend at least) (we'll see about the others when they come) ;)

now church in the morning. mmm :)
